Meet Dot Lee

Dorothy Lee became a wildlife rehabilitator after she retired from teaching special education for middle schoolers in North Carolina. In 2010, she relocated with Trouper to Southwest Florida. She became a volunteer at Calusa Nature Center and Plantatium, as well as at the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) and got involved with wildlife education programs.

Miss Dot stays busy giving educational talks about her experiences as a wildlife rehabilitator, everything she knows about raccoons and her life with Trouper. She often brings Trouper as an animal ambassador to schools, libraries, wildlife centers and other organizations.
